Worship in Poetry

Fashioned for Eternity

I was made to last forever,
Fashioned by my Father’s hand.
My life was set before my birth
To fit His purpose and His plan.

No longer do I need to wonder,
“What’s it all about?!”
I know what on earth I’m here for,
Of this there can be no doubt:

I was born to worship God,
To proclaim the gospel of Christ;
To glorify and honor Him
As I live out this earthly life.

He’s set eternity in my heart;
I’m bound for so much more.
This life is merely preparation
For all that heaven holds in store.
