Freedom in Christ
When I bring my burdens before you
When I lay my grief at your feet,
You always renew and refresh me
With your Holy Spirit so sweet.
When half-hidden memories from childhood
Fill me with sorrow and shame,
Jesus, my Savior, Deliverer,
They are bound and cast out in your name.
And I have been born anew;
Now I am living in You.
Sorrow and shame, grief and pain
Have no home here when Your Spirit reigns.
Now I am living in You;
Jesus, Your love has shone through.
You are my strength, my joy, my peace,
Now I am living in You.
