A Prayer

Based on Ephesians 4:29-32

Lord, clothe me with forgiveness,
May I wear it all the time.
May kindness and compassion
Be always in my mind.

Because You have forgiven me,
Now I can forgive.
Because in Christ I die to sin,
Now, Lord, do I live.

And may I live a life as Christ,
Who is seated now above.
May no unwholesome words be mine,
But may I speak the truth in love.

Father, grant me patience,
Love, joy, peace, mercy
May my life be true to Your will
And may the world see Christ in me.
