Through the Valley

As I walk through this lonely valley
I feel you, Lord, by my side.
Your presence encourages, comforts me,
As you dry the tears that I cry.

When I stumble and fall, You carry me
In my Shepherd’s arms I find peace,
Sweet rest for my soul amidst the storm
Your mercies, Lord, never cease.

And though the shadows loom large ahead
In my Savior I shall abide,
And hind’s feet in high places
Will once again be mine.

So I shall fear no evil,
For I know You are in control.
Your heart knows the pain I bear;
Your love restores my soul.

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.”
